Submissions from Interested Parties regarding Proposals to Publish the Complaints Records of Individual Financial Institutions

The FSO currently publishes information regarding complaints received and the outcomes on an anonymous basis. The information is redacted so neither the Complainant nor the Financial Institution against which the complaint has been made can be identified.

However, it has been the long-stated position of the FSO that the public interest would be best served by publishing the record of individual Financial Institutions.

In July 2011, the FSO set out proposals as to how such information should be published and invited submissions from industry and interested parties about such proposals.
